
Kim Herrman is a Certified Public Accountant, a lifetime resident of Kansas and a graduate of Fort Hays State University with a degree in Business Administration, emphasizing accounting. For the first thirty years of Kim’s professional career, he was a practicing Certified Public Accountant specializing in income tax preparation, financial reporting and estate consulting to families and closely held businesses. For the majority of that time Kim served as the Managing Partner of an accounting firm in Southwest Kansas.
In 1999, Kim transitioned from public accounting to the financial securities business as a second career and currently holds the Series 7 General Securities registration, the Series 66 Uniform States Investment Advisor registration and the Series 24 General Securities Principal registration, all through LPL Financial, along with a Kansas life insurance license. Kim has the Personal Financial Specialist designation and provides financial planning and investment consulting to families and individuals interested in achieving defined financial goals.
Kim served in the U.S. Army Reserves and as a Trustee for the Fort Hays State University Endowment Association. He is married to his wife of 46 years, has three children and eight grandchildren.
